The CSZ-SCZ Blog was created in 2020 as a joint effort between the society’s student/PDF councillors and the EDI committee. Our goals are to:
(i) Provide a platform for CSZ-SCZ members to engage with each other about issues of interest to the society membership, and/or to zoologists in Canada.
(ii) promote greater public understanding of zoology and related fields directly through our content and indirectly by helping our writers develop their popular science writing and editing skills.
(iii) Demonstrate that zoology is for everyone through our processes, content, and philosophy.
