The CSZ-SCZ Blog is operated by members of the Canadian Society of Zoologists, a not-for-profit, professional organization dedicated to the enhancement of education and research in zoology at the provincial, federal, and international level. Membership in CSZ is open to all persons interested in zoology, including students, researchers, and educators.
CSZ is committed to building an equitable, diverse, and inclusive society. An important part of the CSZ-SCZ Blog mandate is to highlight that “zoology is for everyone.”
We are always looking for volunteers, including article writers (see our pitch guidelines here), translators (English to French and vice versa), and editors. Enthusiasm, interest and/or some previous experience in science writing, science communication, or similar activities is preferred for editor-type roles.
